Paranormal Laser Trip Wire

We’d like to introduce you to our brand new laser trip wire. It has an effective range of up to 2m (200cm).

It can be used as a stand alone object pointing across a doorway or hallway and it counts how many times the trip wire has been triggered. It has an additional mode in which it can be placed pointing down a hallway and once something comes into the devices path it shows the distance on the display.

The devices measures 34mm x 110mm x 110mm (H x W x D).

HOW TO USE
Place the device on the floor, table or attach it to a tripod and raise it up off the floor. When in Trip Mode, the device needs to be pointing at a wall e.g. across a closed doorway, open doorway or a hallway. When the device is turned make sure that there is noting in between the wall and the device as it will calibrate the distance. When it has finished calibrating the LED will turn GREEN and the counter will display as 0000. When something comes through the laser and breaks it, it will increase the counter by 1. The counter can be reset by pressing the little button next to it and the display will show REST before returning to 0000. Flick the round switch on the side and the device will go into DISTANCE mode. This can be used for pointing down Hallways etc. If more than the maximum distance of the device has been achieved the display will show —-, if something comes within the range of the device, the distance is shown on the display. PLEASE NOTE: When in trip mode DO NOT point the device towards anything that is shiny or glossy or that can produce a reflection as you will get retriggering occuring and false results being presented.

The device is intended to be used as a standalone device to be used in a locked off room with a locked off camera or similar during investigations.

The device is powered by one rechargeable 18650 cell which can be recharged using a standard USB-C cable and a normal standard 5V 1A power plug e.g. phone charger. PLEASE NOTE: a modern, high power charger may not work and could damage the components inside use only a standard USB-C cable and power supply to charge the device.

The Device is made to order so please allow 7 – 10 days for delivery.

Please also note that the device is 3D printed so there maybe some slight imperfections during the printing process.
